- Is a Google web search parameter which specifies the output encoding, e.g. the character set being used in the browser's display area.

- Featured vertical search results shown at the top of a main SERP.
- Online Conversion
- An action by a site visitor which accomplishes a defined site goal and is carried out online, e.g. completing a web-based email enquiry form about a given product or service. See also ‘Conversion’ and ‘Goal’.
- Ontology Finder

- Open Directory Project
- A large directory of websites run by volunteers, and re-used by many sites across the web.

- Opt-in
- The process of joining a ‘Permission Marketing’ scheme by explicitly and positively signing up to it, or an adjectival noun describing such a scheme.
- Opt-out
- The process of joining a ‘Permission Marketing’ scheme, where you have to explicitly choose not join in order to opt-out, or an adjectival noun describing such a scheme.
- Organic Keywords
- SEM-speak for ‘Search Terms’, i.e. keywords that you don't pay to discover, don't pay to insert in your pages, and don't pay for adverts associated with.
